Laserfast evolved from M & D Steel Supplies, a long established steel stockholder and shearer, a family run business.

In 1995 an opportunity to move from steel stockholding into the world of lasercutting arose, a choice that’s proved to be very successful.

An Amada LCE 645 was purchased to compliment the shearing but within 2 years and a further laser addition, an Amada Alpha 1212, profiling was more than 80% of the business.

The name Laserfast was decided upon to reflect the aims of the company. More investments guaranteed the latest equipment and in 2006 Laserfast aquired new premises and an Amada FOL, probably the fastest fully linear laser on the planet.

The future aim for Laserfast is to continue investing in new technology to compliment its expanding business and to continue to provide the service that our customers expect from their laser provider.
